Dr. Bhavna Barmi (senior psychologist at Fortis Escort Heart institute and Mr. Hari Yogi
(Yoga trainer) conducted a training workshop on Living In Balance (Stress Management). The training was conducted with employees of the organization at Hero Motocorp in Dharuhera on 22nd January 2014. This single day workshop aimed at imparting information about how to balance work and life consequences. The workshop started with the three minutes meditative exercise followed by introduction on stress and life style management. The workshop emphasized on defining Stress, reasons for stress, long term effect of stress, important de-stress principles. A personal stress counselor form was also filled by employees in order to help them know there stress level followed by the coping mechanism techniques to minimize stress and maximize success. The workshop also emphasized on personality, that is, the IQ (Intelligent Quotient), EQ (Emotional Quotient), and SQ (Spiritual Quotient). The workshop also talked about Healthy living, significance of balance diet. The workshop also incorporated Yoga exercise (Yoga for health and de-stress) and demonstration of Relaxation Therapy where in each participant took part in it. In the end question and answer session took place followed by feedback from participants to make an everlasting impression on the participants minds .At last the workshop was beneficial with a lot of learning and knowledge to take back and hence was a success. |
